Bossweld Mag Lens 51mm x 108mm 2.5 Dioptor

The Bossweld Magnification Lens is a 2.5 dioptre lens in the 51 x 108 mm size, for use in standard welding helmets to magnify the work area. It is made for welders who wear bifocals or whose eyesight is not what it was, and it removes the need to wear glasses under the helmet.

It is impact resistant and improves clarity of vision at the weld. Magnification lenses are made in 1.5, 2.0, 2.25 and 2.5 dioptre, so you can choose the strength that suits your eyes.

Selecting the right option

Choose the strength by trial: a higher number magnifies more but also shortens the distance you can see clearly. If you are unsure, the Magnification Lens Multi Pack has 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 dioptre lenses so you can try each. Other single strengths are the 1.5 dioptre and the 2.0 and 2.25 dioptre. Magnification lenses go in front of the filter lens.
