The Bossweld Spool Gun is a MIG spool gun for welding soft alloys, especially aluminium, where feeding the wire from the machine is hard because of bird-nesting, tangles and poor feeding. It comes as the SPX15 or the SPX24, each with a 4 m or 8 m cable and a 9 pin plug.

The short feed length keeps the wire path to a minimum to reduce nesting and tangles, and the gun uses standard Binzel-style front-end consumables, so tips, nozzles and diffusers are easy to replace.

Choose the model and cable length for your machine and workspace, and check that your machine has a matching 9 pin spool gun connection. A longer cable gives more reach but is heavier to handle.
