Bossweld Tweco 4 Style Aluminium Heavy Duty Contact Tips fit Tweco 4 style (14 series) MIG torches. They are supplied in 1.2 and 1.6 mm bores, and each pack holds 10 tips.

This is a Heavy Duty tip for aluminium wire, covering 1.2 to 1.6 mm sizes. Pair it with a Teflon liner and a drive roller made for aluminium, because soft aluminium wire feeds poorly through steel liners.

Selecting the right option

Match the bore to your wire diameter: a 1.2 mm wire needs a 1.2 mm tip. Check the thread and length against the tip you are replacing, because tips from different torch styles can look alike but will not interchange. Replace tips when the bore wears oversize, the arc becomes unstable or the wire starts to stick. If you are unsure which tip your torch takes, contact AIMS with the torch model before ordering.
