Cone Ring Pin, Nut and Rubber Assemblies, Suits KX030 to KX042

Replacement pin, nut and rubber assemblies for cone ring couplings, in sizes No. 2 to No. 5, covering coupling sizes KX030 to KX150. Each assembly is a pin and nut with its rubber rings, so you can renew the flexible elements in one step.

In a cone ring coupling the rubber rings are mounted on steel pins and absorb misalignment, shock and vibration. The rings and pins can be removed and changed without taking the coupling off the shafts, and no lubrication is needed.

Selecting and fitting

Choose by coupling size. The cone ring number groups several coupling sizes: No. 2 covers KX030 to KX042, No. 3 covers KX048 to KX070, No. 4 covers KX075 to KX105 and No. 5 covers KX120 to KX150. KX020 uses No. 1 and KX170 uses No. 6.

The number of pins and rubbers per coupling is listed in the table, so you can work out how many to order for one coupling. Replace the rubbers as a full set.

Isolate the drive before you work on the coupling. Replace worn rubbers as a set, and check that the pins and nuts are tight when the coupling is reassembled.
