Mitutoyo 329-350-30 Digimatic Depth Micrometer

The Mitutoyo 329-350-30 is a Digimatic depth micrometer with an LCD display for measuring the depth of holes, slots and steps from 0 to 6". It suits toolrooms, machinists, fitters and quality control. Interchangeable ø4mm rods with lapped measuring surfaces give it a wide range, and a ratchet stop gives a constant measuring force. It reads to 0.00005" (0.001mm).

It uses an ABSOLUTE encoder, so the display is correct when you switch it on without zeroing it first, unless the battery has been removed. The series has a data output function, which lets the readings go to an SPC (statistical process control) or measurement system. The micrometer comes with six rods and an SR44 battery included for operational checks.
