Mitutoyo 2109A-10 Dial Indicator 1mm 0.001mm

The Mitutoyo Series 2 standard type dial indicator reads in 0.001mm steps. Toolrooms, quality control teams and machinists use it for fine comparison measurement, where a coarser dial is too rough. It uses jewelled bearings for excellent indication sensitivity and durability, and it has a 57mm bezel. The case is oil- and water-tight, with quenched hardened stainless steel, a carbide contact point and a grand gear made of wear- and deformation-resistant material. An anti-reflective, hard surface coating improves scale visibility and resists scratches and chemicals.

Range is how far the plunger can travel, and the figure in brackets is how far it moves for one turn of the pointer. Graduation is the smallest step on the dial. Error is how far a reading can be out. To choose, take the 2109A-10 for 1mm of travel and the finest error figures, or the 2118A-10 for 5mm of travel. Both read to 0.001mm.
