Mitutoyo 193-111 Digit Micrometer 0-25mm

The Mitutoyo Series 193 digit outside micrometer has a mechanical counter that shows the reading as numbers, so you do not have to add up scale marks. This version adds a vernier scale, and its graduation is 0.001mm. It suits toolrooms, quality control and machinists who want quick, low-error readings to the nearest micron. It has carbide-tipped faces and a ratchet stop.

It comes in two sizes, 0 to 25mm and 25 to 50mm. Graduation is the smallest step you can read on the scale. Accuracy is a separate figure. It is the maximum permissible error, which is the most the reading is allowed to be out. Both sizes are ±2µm. If you only need to read to 0.01mm, there is also a 0.01mm version of the same micrometer.
