Selecting the right option
Choose the tyre size for the load and the ground you travel over, then match the bore ID to your axle. Wheels listed "with reducing bush" are supplied for a smaller axle size through a reducing bush on the 1 in bearing (manufacturer-stated); confirm the fit with AIMS. Check the load capacity for the speed you will travel, because the figure at 15 km/h is lower than the figure at 8 km/h (manufacturer-stated). Load capacity is shown per wheel (manufacturer-stated). For castors on a four wheel trolley EHI recommends each castor is rated for at least 35 percent of the total load, which is the weight of the trolley plus what it carries (manufacturer-stated).
