Frontier Disposable P2 Moulded Cup Respirator with Valve (FRP2MCV)

The Frontier P2 moulded cup respirator with valve is a disposable respirator with a pre-shaped nose cushion, a contoured face seal, an exhalation valve, an adjustable nose bridge and a twin elastic headband with adjustable straps (manufacturer-stated). Frontier's data sheet lists P2 protection against mechanically and thermally generated particles, and against dust, mists and fumes (manufacturer-stated).

Frontier states the respirator is certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012 and should be used with AS/NZS 1715:2009 for selection, use and maintenance (manufacturer-stated). P2 is a filter class in AS/NZS 1716 that sets a minimum particle filtration of 94% for P2, and a P2 respirator filters particles only and does not protect against gases or vapours.

Frontier lists applications as sanding, cutting, drilling, soldering, smelting, welding, waste sorting and general cleaning (manufacturer-stated). Frontier's warnings are to fit test the respirator before wear, that facial hair can stop the seal, to make sure there is enough oxygen, not to use it in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life and health, to make sure the contamination is known and the respirator suits the job, and to replace it when the taste, smell or breathing resistance is high. It should not be cleaned and reused, and should be disposed of as solid waste after use (manufacturer-stated).

This is one size fits all. Beaver packs the respirator 10 to a pack and 12 packs to a carton (manufacturer-stated).
