Frontier Splendor Winterlined Glove, Large (FRSPLDRWL00000L)

The Frontier Splendor winterlined glove has a seamless polyester cotton liner brushed with terry for warmth and a roughened latex coating for wet and dry grip. Frontier's data sheet lists an ergonomic, snug fit and a wash at 42 C (manufacturer-stated). The data sheet gives EN 388 2241, which is abrasion 2, blade cut 2, tear 4 and puncture 1 (manufacturer-stated).

The data sheet also shows the EN 511 cold pictogram with the result XXX, which means no cold level was rated, so this is a lined work glove for warmth and not a rated cold protection glove. Beaver lists applications as cold storage, outdoor maintenance, warehousing, construction, commercial fishing, agriculture, local councils, refuse workers and shipping and receiving (manufacturer-stated). The EN 388 result (manufacturer-stated) is read in the order abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture, followed by a cut letter where it is tested. An X means that test was not done. Match the glove to your risk assessment, check the fit, and replace gloves that are worn, torn or contaminated. The ratings are test results on the glove material and do not describe every hazard on your site.
