The Gemini LD52 is a low hydrogen, double coated electrode recommended for unalloyed, micro-alloyed and low alloyed steels of the medium tensile class. It is classified AWS A5.1 E7016 (manufacturer-stated).

It suits root passes and all-positional welding, has an extremely stable arc, and is not affected by rust or paint on the work surface. It runs on AC and DC power sources. It comes in 2.6 and 4 mm 5 kg packs, and 2.6 and 3.2 mm six stick handy packs.

Choose the diameter to suit the material thickness and the amperage your machine delivers. Low hydrogen electrodes need to be stored dry, so follow the manufacturer's storage advice.
