Construction

• Material: Polyurethane
• Temperature Range: -35 degC to 70 degC
• Angular Misalignment Capacity: 1 degree

Advantages

• The elastomeric design permits angular and parallel misalignments; hence it is not necessary to have perfect alignment between shafts which greatly simplifies installation
• Acts as a buffer against peak loads and reduces the shock loads often found at start-ups
• Elastomeric insert makes HRC coupling suitable for use in most conditions within design temperature ranges
• Maintenance is minimal, wherein the insert can be visually inspected and never needs lubrication
• HRC coupling can continue to transmit power even if the elastomeric insert becomes severely damaged or destroyed- minimising downtime and increases reliability
