KCM 60H-2 ASA H-Type Roller Chain Connecting Link Duplex, 3/4 in Pitch

KCM connecting links join the ends of a length of ASA H-Type duplex roller chain into a continuous loop. Match the link to the KCM chain with the same chain number, strand count and series.

Selecting the right option

For ASA chain the number is the pitch in eighths of an inch: 40 is 4/8 in (1/2 in), 60 is 6/8 in (3/4 in), 100 is 10/8 in (1-1/4 in). The figure after the dash is the number of strands.

Choose H-type where standard chain of the same pitch is too lightly rated. Single strand H-type runs on standard sprockets. KCM manufactures multiple-strand H-type separately because its transverse pitch (C) differs from standard chain, so confirm the sprocket before ordering duplex.

Fitting and use

KCM lists clip-type connecting links for sizes 40H to 60H.

KCM says not to replace damaged parts of a chain with new ones. Replace the whole chain, and check the sprockets when changing chain.

Check that a safety cover is fitted before running a chain drive.
