The SDS classifies this product as a flammable liquid and vapour (Category 3), which may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways, causes skin irritation, causes serious eye irritation and is harmful if inhaled. Flash point is 42 °C to 45 °C. For sea and air transport the SDS lists UN 1263, Class 3, packing group III, paint related material, and states it is not regulated for transport by road and rail because it meets the requirements for a liquid that does not sustain combustion.
