Loctite 620 High Temperature Retaining

The Loctite 620 High Temperature Retaining Compound is a green, high-viscosity anaerobic for bonding cylindrical parts in hot-running assemblies. It works from -55°C to +230°C and gets stronger with heat, rising from 17 N/mm² to 24 N/mm² shear strength after heat exposure. It suits locating pins in radiator assemblies and bearings in automatic transmissions, with gaps of 0.15 to 0.25 mm. This is the 50 ml bottle.
Clean and dry the parts, then coat the shaft and bore for slip fits, both surfaces for press fits, or the unheated part for shrink fits. The 60-minute fixture time allows for positioning, and removal needs local heat to about 300°C; it is not recommended on thermoplastics or in oxygen, chlorine or strong oxidiser service.
