LOCTITE SI 5699 is a flexible, form-in-place, room temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicone sealant. Cures at room temperature on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough rubber gasket. Tack-free after 10 minutes, suitable for flexible, machined or cast surfaces, metal or plastic. For flange and rigid flange sealing on transmissions, cast housings and similar assemblies. Extrusion rate: 200 g/min. Tack-free time: 30 min. Operating temperature: -55 to +200°C. Key characteristic: Increased oil resistance. Colour: Grey.
