M6 Four-Prong Tee Nut, 304 Stainless Steel - TNUA2M6
Available
Made in 304 (A2) stainless steel, the Metric 4 Prong Tee Nut is a flanged nut with four prongs that bite into the back of timber or board. It provides a machine thread in wood.
This listing has 3 variants covering sizes M6 to M10. Every size comes in packs of 100.
A2 stainless (grade 304) gives sound general corrosion resistance for inside work, fresh water and ordinary outdoor exposure. It is not the grade normally chosen for coastal, pool or marine work, where A4 (316) is recommended. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.
Austenitic stainless steel is generally non-magnetic, although cold-worked parts can show weak magnetism. Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.
