Mitutoyo 156-101-10 Micrometer Stand

The Mitutoyo 156-101-10 is a dedicated stand for micrometers. It holds a hand-held outside micrometer of 15 to 100mm (0.6 to 4") on the bench so both your hands are free to operate it and position the workpiece. It suits toolrooms, quality control and production lines that measure many parts.

Holding the micrometer in a stand also reduces the effect of body heat on the frame, which helps accuracy. The stand has an adjustable angle. It cannot hold some micrometers, such as adjustable-angle types like 406-253-30 and 323-253-30, so check your model first.
