Turntable Grease
Turntable grease is a heavy-duty, tacky grease used to lubricate the fifth-wheel turntable plate on prime movers and other slow-moving, heavily loaded sliding surfaces. The fifth-wheel coupling carries the trailer king-pin and rotates each time the truck turns, so the grease has to stay on the plate under shock loads and through water, dirt and road grime. Morey's Big Foot is an NLGI 2 lithium complex EP grease, supplied as 60 g sachets in a box of 30 for convenient on-the-job application.
A heavy duty ep2 grease built for severe service, Big Foot is a lithium complex grease (NLGI 2) that stays in place through water, dirt and mud and holds up from -4°C to 200°C. Its tacky, adhesive film and excellent mechanical stability suit construction, agricultural, mining and transport equipment working in punishing conditions. MPI Approved C 11, this lithium complex grease delivers long regreasing intervals and dependable protection under shock loads.
