Nord-Lock Series Large O.D. Washer Metric Delta Protekt is engineered to secure bolted joints against vibration, dynamic load and thermal cycling through a wedge-locking cam action. Unlike friction-based locking solutions, the cam angle of the washer is greater than the bolt thread pitch, so any rotation actually increases clamping tension on the joint.
