Selecting the right option

Dish wheels are used for saw tooth grinding and form tool applications. The thin rim must not be side-loaded beyond the manufacturer's rated side pressure. Select grit to suit the tooth material — silicon carbide for carbon steel saw blades, aluminium oxide for HSS. Dish wheel dimensions must suit the saw tooth pitch and gullet depth being ground.
