Selecting the right option

Select grit to suit the operation — 40–80 for stock removal and shaping, 100–150 for intermediate sanding, 180–240 for fine finishing, 320+ for between-coats flatting. Cloth-backed sheets suit hand sanding of contoured surfaces; paper-backed sheets suit flat orbital and hand block sanding. Rolls provide economy for high-volume cutting to size.
