The Nupla drilling hammer is a short-handled striking hammer with a Classic Nuplaglas fibreglass handle and a 10 in (254 mm) handle length. It comes in a 3 lb (1.35 kg) head and a 4 lb (1.8 kg) head.

Nupla describes the handle as having a protective covering injection moulded over it, which protects the fibreglass from overstrikes and extends the life of the handle. The 3 lb head is listed as a precision forged, heat-treated high carbon steel head, and the 4 lb head is listed as an industrial grade head.
