Mitutoyo 103-913-50 Micrometer Set, 0 - 150mm

Mitutoyo Series 103 outside micrometer sets put a full run of sizes in one box. Each set holds ordinary analog micrometers with a baked-enamel-finished frame, carbide-tipped measuring faces and a ratchet stop. The ratchet stop gives a constant measuring force, so a reading repeats whoever turns the thimble. Toolrooms, quality control, machinists and fitters use sets like this to check outside diameters and thicknesses across a wide range.

Every micrometer reads to a graduation of 0.01mm. Graduation is the smallest step marked on the scale. Accuracy is a separate figure: it is the biggest error Mitutoyo allows, so do not read a fine graduation as a promise of that accuracy. Choose 0 - 150mm for everyday work, 150 - 300mm for larger parts, or 0 - 300mm if you want both sets together. The 0 - 300mm set is the two smaller sets in one.
