Mitutoyo 340-351-30 Digimatic Micrometer, 0 - 6"

Mitutoyo Series 340 Digimatic outside micrometers give you a digital reading over a wide span, with interchangeable anvils to change the range. They have IP65 water and dust protection, a ratchet stop for constant force and SPC output, so they suit toolrooms, quality control and machinists who want to read in inch or metric and send readings to a data system.

An anvil is the fixed measuring face. Resolution is the smallest step the display shows. It is not the same as accuracy, which is the biggest error Mitutoyo allows. SPC output lets the micrometer send readings to a computer or data system through an optional cable. IP65 is a rating for resistance to dust and water. Choose 0 - 6" (152.4mm) for general work, or 6 - 12" for larger parts.
