The Pferd Flat Cut-Off Wheel by Pferd is a Cut-Off Wheel with aluminium oxide A abrasive. It provides diameter up from 50 mm and is suitable for multipurpose cutting work on steel, stainless steel and nickel-based alloys.

Pferd Flat Cut-Off Wheel - SG Steelox

  • For multipurpose cutting work.
  • Specially designed for hard-to-reach places.
  • Medium-hard, multipurpose tool with high cutting performance and long tool life for reduced heat build-up during cutting.
  • For use on electric and air-powered straight grinders of all output categories.
  • Can be used with mounted arbor on straight grinders. ***Arbors to suit these small diameter wheels are sold separately, contact AIMS for assistance.***
  • Manufactured without addition of ferrous, chlorinated or sulphurous fillers.

Safety notes:

  • Observe the maximum rotational speed for the cut-off wheel and arbor – the lower speed takes precedence.
  • When using cut-off wheels with diameter up from 50 mm on compressed-air straight grinders, a protective guard must be used (ISO 11148-7).
  • When using cut-off wheels with diameter up from 55 mm on electric straight grinders, a protective guard must be used (EN 60745-2-3)
