These steel pilot bore sprockets are clearance stock. They suit ASA (ANSI) and BS (ISO 606 B series) roller chain, in ASA 25, ASA 40, ASA 60, BS 06B, BS 08B, BS 10B, BS 12B, BS 16B and BS 24B, from 9 to 45 teeth.

Each sprocket has a pilot bore, which is a starter hole that you machine out to your shaft size and cut a keyway in. Sizes are listed in the table below.

Selecting and fitting

Choose the sprocket by chain size and number of teeth. The chain size must match your chain, and the tooth count sets the speed ratio. Check that the pilot bore can be bored to your shaft diameter with a keyway and set screw within the hub diameter. Contact AIMS if you need help with a bore or keyway.
