Note: Pulleys are dirty and old, but they shouldn't affect performance.

This B section aluminium V-pulley is clearance stock. It has a 9 in (229 mm) pitch circle diameter, 1 groove and a finished 1/2 in bore with a 5/16 in UNC grub screw.

The 1/2 in bore has no keyway. The PCD is the diameter the belt runs on and sets the speed ratio of the drive.

Key specifications

Selecting and fitting

Check the belt section (B), pitch circle diameter, number of grooves and bore against your drive. This is a single pulley and stock is limited. Contact AIMS if you would like further details or wish to inspect it before purchase.

Fit the pulley on the shaft, set it in line with its mating pulley and tighten the grub screw onto the shaft. Check the alignment with a straight edge before fitting the belts.

Set belt tension to the belt maker's recommendation, and check it again after a few hours of running.
