Shin-Yain Precision BT Drill Chuck Arbor — NT(ISO) Metric

A precision BT taper to NT(ISO) drill chuck arbor for mounting a Jacobs or metric taper drill chuck on a BT-shank CNC machining centre or machining centre spindle. The BT shank engages the machining centre's spindle; the NT(ISO) taper on the other end accepts a drill chuck with the corresponding female taper — converting the machining centre's toolholding interface to accept a drill chuck for hole-making operations.

Manufactured by Shin-Yain Industrial Co. (SYIC) to precision ground tolerances. BT toolholding is the standard in Japanese and Asian CNC machining centres — BT30, BT40, and BT50 are the common spindle sizes. The NT(ISO) metric taper is compatible with metric Jacobs taper drill chucks and similar. SYIC has been manufacturing precision toolholding since 1979.
