Turning Insert CNMM Insert Style - R8 Grade TP40

• C shape code.
• M insert type, with hole and chipbreaker on one face only.
• TP40 insert grade.

TP40 Insert Grade

• Universal grade for a extremely secure performance in the most demanding application from steels, stainless steel to superalloys especially in castings and forgings.
• TiC/Ti(C,N) + TiN.

R8 Chipbreaker Programme

• A very strong chipbreaker for single-sided inserts. The R8 is intended for high feed rates when machining castings and forgings of austenitic stainless steel.
• Indicative machining range: f = 0,35–0,80 mm/rev, ap = 2–12 mm.
