• S shape code.
• M insert type, with hole and chipbreaker on one face only.
• TP0501 insert grade.

TP0501 Insert Grade

• Duratomic® grade.
• A grade with an extremely high degree of heat and wear resistance for many steel applications such as in alloy steels and especially capable under dry conditions, but also applicable for demanding applications in cast irons.
• Ti(C,N) + Al2O3 + Used Edge Detection (Chrome).

R57 Chipbreaker Programme

• Chipbreaker for single-sided roughing inserts. Recommended for roughing operations on steel at high feed rates and high depth of cut.
• Indicative machining range: f = 0,45-1,10 mm/rev, ap = 2-12 mm.
