Sutton D5160065 Quick Change Extension Shank 1/4in Hex - 65mm Long

The Sutton D516 quick change extension shanks have a 1/4" hex shank and a 1/4" hex opening, in 6 lengths from 65 to 900 mm (65, 150, 300, 450, 600, 900 mm). They add extra reach to 1/4" hex power bits.

The 1/4" hex shank suits impact drivers and quick change adaptors. The spring-loaded sleeve is designed to prevent accidental release of the bit. The 1/4" hex opening suits 1/4" hex power bits. Quick change extension shanks are available in 1/4" and 7/16" hex and are inter-mate-able, providing extra long reach.

Using the extension shank

• Push the 1/4" hex power bit into the opening until the spring-loaded sleeve holds it.
• Fit the 1/4" hex shank in a impact driver or quick change adaptor.
• Pull back the sleeve to release the bit.
