Sutton reciprocating saw blades cover metal-cutting, wood-and-nail, and demolition applications in standard lengths for use in electric and cordless reciprocating (sabre) saws. Bi-metal construction provides the combination of a hard tooth edge and flexible backing needed to survive the varied cutting conditions typical of demolition and trade work.
Where this product is used
Used in reciprocating saws (saber saws) for cutting pipe, conduit, timber, composite, and mixed materials in construction, plumbing, and renovation.
- Cutting steel pipe, conduit, and tube in plumbing and electrical installation where a recip saw is the fastest tool for the work.
- Demolition cutting through mixed materials — timber with embedded nails, composite cladding, and structural sections — in renovation and fit-out projects.
- Cutting corrugated roofing sheet, flashing, and thin sheet metal where angle grinders or circular saws are impractical.
Selecting the right option
Match blade TPI to the material: 10 TPI for thick metal and pipe, 18 TPI for sheet metal and conduit, 5–8 TPI for timber and nails. Bi-metal blades are the best all-round choice — they last longer than carbon steel in metal and are more flexible. Use the curved-blade format for plunge cuts in enclosed or curved geometry.
