Sutton M500NC12 12 Piece UNC Tap and Die Set - Carbon Steel

The Sutton M500NC12 is a 12 piece UNC tap and die set. It contains 5 intermediate taps, 5 button dies, a #1 bar type tap wrench and a 1 inch button die holder. The taps cut internal threads and the button dies cut or clean up external threads on studs and bolts.

The taps and dies are carbon alloy steel for general purpose and DIY use. They are not suitable for precision, safety or critical threads. The set comes in a metal case with a layout chart that shows where each item sits.

Intermediate taps help align and start the tap into an untapped hole.
