Sutton 8.3mm 90° Three Flute Countersink C201 - HSS - M4 Screw - 50mm OAL

The Sutton C201 is a range of 90° three flute countersinks in M2 high speed steel (HSS), made to DIN 335 specifications for countersinking screw holes. This range has 6 sizes, 8.3, 10.4, 12.4, 16.5, 20.5 and 25.0 mm, for M4 to M12 screw heads.

M2 high speed steel offers the best combination of strength, heat and wear resistance. The countersinks suit steel, tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, brass and aluminium, and can be used in portable and pedestal drilling machines.

Using the tool

• Match the countersink to the screw head so the head sits flush with the surface.
• Use a low to moderate speed, and go lower on harder materials and larger diameters.
• Use cutting fluid when working steel or stainless steel.
• Hold the work firmly and keep the tool steady to reduce chatter.
