A 5.5kW, 4 pole 3 phase electric motor fitted with an Intorq DC brake that engages on power loss, so the load is held safely the moment power is cut. Based on the lightweight TAI aluminium range, this brake motor comes with an emergency hand release as standard and runs on 415V three-phase. It suits hoists, conveyors and machinery that needs controlled, reliable stopping.
