Built for truck axle and differential service, the Trax Universal Double Housing Nut Wrench removes and installs housing nuts on 2-tonne and large trucks. The single-point adjustment opens and closes the claws around hexagonal, octagonal or round pin-type housing nuts, and an open-stop plate lets you free seized nuts using hammer shock on the hammer point. The Trax Universal Double Housing Nut Wrench is a specialised tool for removing and installing housing nuts on the axles and differentials of 2-tonne and large trucks. A single-point adjustment opens and closes the claws around all three common housing nut types, hexagonal, octagonal and round pin-type, keeping the wrench light and easy to handle in tight service positions. When a housing nut is seized, the open-stop plate can be set and the nut released using hammer shock applied to the hammer point. Each kit is supplied with the ratchet assembly, cross bar, support bar, two claws, two open-stop plates, the round claw set and the bolts, collars and locking nuts needed for setup. Suited to truck workshops, heavy vehicle and trailer maintenance, transport fleet service and diff and axle repair.
