Mitutoyo 137-011 Inside Micrometer Main Unit, 50 - 63mm

The Mitutoyo 137-011 is the main unit (the micrometer head) for Series 137 extension rod inside micrometers. On its own it measures inside diameters from 50 to 63mm. Add extension rods to extend the range, which is how toolrooms, quality control teams and machinists check larger bores and gaps.

It has a measuring span of 13mm, a graduation of 0.01mm and a spindle feed error of 3µm. Graduation is the smallest step marked on the scale. Accuracy is a separate figure: it is the biggest error Mitutoyo allows, so do not read a fine graduation as a promise of that accuracy. The head comes without extension rods. If you want the rods too, choose a complete Series 137 set instead.
