Typhoon 72542 20 Piece 1/2" Impact Socket Set 10-36mm

The Typhoon Tools 72542 is a 20 piece impact socket set with a 1/2" drive. It has standard length metric sockets in 20 sizes from 10mm to 36mm. That takes it past the 27mm limit of the 14 piece sets, so it suits larger nuts and bolts. Impact sockets are built for impact wrenches and air tools. They are made from chromium-molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo) with thick walls to absorb shock, and a black phosphate finish that resists corrosion. Each socket has retention holes and grooves for retaining rings. A ring clips the socket onto the anvil of the impact tool so it stays put.

Choose this set when you need sizes above 27mm, such as 28, 30, 32, 33, 34 and 36mm. If 27mm is big enough, the 14 piece sets are the alternative: 72500 in standard length or 72501 in deep. The 28 piece set (72506) has both lengths up to 27mm. Always wear eye protection when using impact equipment, and do not hold the socket while it is working.
