Nylon insert lock nuts are single-use — once removed and re-tightened, the nylon insert may not provide full locking torque. Select by thread size, pitch, and grade to match the bolt specification. Contact AIMS for all-metal prevailing-torque lock nuts (beam nuts) for high-temperature applications where nylon inserts are not suitable.
