Mitutoyo 532-119 Fine Adjustment Caliper, 130mm/5"

The Mitutoyo Series 532 is a vernier caliper with a fine-adjustment wheel. You slide the jaw close by hand, then turn the wheel to feed the slider in small steps for the final setting. It suits toolrooms, quality control and machinists who take careful measurements by hand. It measures outside diameter, inside diameter, depth and steps.

There are three sizes: 130mm/5", 180mm/7" and 280mm/11". All three read to 0.02mm on the metric scale and .001" on the inch scale. Accuracy is ±0.03mm on the two smaller sizes and ±0.04mm on the 280mm size. Graduation is the smallest step on the scale. Accuracy is how close a reading is to the true size. They are different numbers, so check both. A vernier caliper has no screen and no battery. You read the whole number from the main scale and the fine part from the sliding vernier scale. The standard Series 530 caliper comes in 150mm, 200mm and 300mm sizes. Choose the Series 532 if you want that extra control.
