This BS 08B weld fit sprocket is clearance stock. It suits BS (ISO 606 B series) roller chain, 1/2 in pitch, with 23 teeth.

A weld fit sprocket is a flat plate sprocket with teeth around the outside edge and a prepared taper bore that takes a welded hub. This model takes an XT series hub. Hubs are listed separately on AIMS.

Selecting and fitting

Choose the sprocket by chain size and number of teeth. The chain size must match your chain, and the tooth count sets the speed ratio. Then choose a weld fit hub of the series shown for that tooth count, bored to your shaft diameter with a keyway. Welding with low hydrogen electrodes is recommended. Hub keyways conform to BS 46 (imperial) and BS 4235 (metric). Contact AIMS if you need help matching a hub.

Pitch diameter is calculated from the chain pitch and tooth count. Contact AIMS to confirm a measurement if it is critical to your application.
