Wiha Softfinish Electric Slimbit, Slotted 4mm

The Wiha SoftFinish® Electric SlimBit is a compact slotted screwdriver with a narrow blade profile designed for screw-terminal blocks and DIN-rail components where standard blade widths cannot enter the terminal recess. CrVMo blade, SoftFinish® handle, made in Germany.

Where this tool is used

• Switchboard and panel-building — fine slotted terminal screws on push-in and cage-clamp terminal blocks require a narrow, precision blade.
• DIN-rail component wiring — Phoenix, Wago, Weidmüller, and similar terminal blocks use slot-head terminal screws across 0.8–3.5 mm widths.
• Electronics and instrument wiring — screw terminals on PLCs, I/O modules, and relays are often recessed and require a SlimBit or PicoFinish blade.

Selecting the right option

Match blade width to terminal screw slot — 0.4 mm for 0.8 mm slots, 0.8 mm for 1.6–2.0 mm slots. Narrow blade is not suitable for general screwdriving — use standard SoftFinish® slotted for that.
