SIT Stainless Steel Crimped Wire Wheel 125 x 17mm, Multi Bore B3122SS | B3122SS

The SIT B3122SS is a 125 x 17 mm crimped stainless steel wire wheel with a multi bore for bench grinders, rated to 6,000 rpm.

Crimped wire is used for surface deburring, polishing and surface preparation, and acts less aggressively than twisted wire. Use a stainless steel brush on stainless steel work, so carbon steel particles are not left on the surface. The multi bore takes 1 in, 3/4 in, 5/8 in and 1/2 in arbors.

Key specifications

Selecting the right option

Check that the bore, or the multi-bore sizes, suit the arbor on your machine, and that the wheel width fits inside the guard. Use a stainless steel brush on stainless steel work, so carbon steel particles are not left on the surface. Match the brush to your machine and do not run it above its maximum speed rating. Wear eye protection and gloves when brushing, because wire can break off during use. Check site rules before using any wire brush where flammable gas or dust may be present.
