3/4" Loc-Line Y Fittings
A Y fitting splits a single 3/4" Loc-Line hose run into two branches from one supply point — snapped in place by hand, the same as every other joint in the system. On the 3/4" system, which is built for high-flow coolant delivery on CNC machining centres and large lathes, that's useful wherever you need coolant reaching two points at once from a single feed, without running a second full supply line back to the pump. For more on selection, see our Loc-Line Modular Hose Guide: Sizes, Nozzles & Coolant Delivery.

How a Loc-Line Y Fitting Works
Each Y fitting snaps into an existing 3/4" hose segment or assembly fitting, and from there two separate 3/4" hose runs extend independently. The angled Y branch gives a more natural split than a straight T fitting for delivering coolant to two points at once — for example, covering both the front and rear of a cutting zone on a milling operation, or feeding two tooling positions from a single manifold point. If you're only using one branch for now, cap the unused outlet with the correct size end cap for your hose — get in touch and we'll confirm the right one.
The 3/4" to 1/2" Y Reducer — the One Genuine Exception
Everywhere else in this collection, the rule is strict: don't mix sizes. The one deliberate exception is the Loc-Line 3/4" to 1/2" Y Reducer, which exists specifically to step a 3/4" supply line down into two 1/2" branches — useful where your main coolant feed is 3/4" but you want to run finer 1/2" hose to the actual nozzle positions. This is a purpose-built transition fitting, not a workaround — outside of it, 3/4" and 1/2" Loc-Line parts don't connect.
Compatibility — Sizes Are Not Interchangeable
Aside from the Y reducer above, 3/4" Loc-Line Y fittings are compatible only with other 3/4" Loc-Line hose segments and fittings — they will not accept 1/4" or 1/2" components directly. Keep every part in an assembly matched to the same size family, and use the reducer where you genuinely need to step down.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the two products in this collection?
The Loc-Line 3/4" Y Fitting splits a 3/4" line into two 3/4" branches. The Loc-Line 3/4" to 1/2" Y Reducer splits a 3/4" supply line into two 1/2" branches, for stepping down to finer hose at the nozzle end.
Can a 3/4" Y fitting connect to 1/2" or 1/4" hose?
Not directly — the standard 3/4" Y fitting only connects to other 3/4" Loc-Line components. The one exception is our dedicated 3/4" to 1/2" Y Reducer, which is purpose-built to bridge those two sizes.
Do I need to cap the unused outlet if I'm only using one branch of the Y fitting?
Yes, an unused outlet should be capped with the correct size end cap for your hose. Contact our team and we'll confirm the right end cap for your setup.
Why choose a Y fitting over a T fitting?
The angled Y branch gives a more natural split than a straight T fitting for delivering coolant to two points at once, such as covering both the front and rear of a cutting zone in a milling operation.
What colours and pack sizes are available?
The 3/4" Y Fitting is available in Black or Orange, in packs of 2 or bulk packs of 20. The 3/4" to 1/2" Y Reducer is available in Black or Orange packs of 2, and Black packs of 20.
