Dispensers, Sprayers & Pumps

Effective dispensing of chemicals, lubricants, cleaning agents, and industrial fluids requires the right equipment for the product and the task. Pouring from bulk containers without appropriate dispensing equipment wastes product, creates spill risks, and exposes workers to unnecessary chemical contact. AIMS Industrial supplies a practical range of dispensers, sprayers, and hand pumps for industrial, workshop, and maintenance fluid management.

Trigger Sprayers

Trigger pump sprayers are the standard for applying cleaning chemicals, surface treatments, and light lubricants in workshop and maintenance environments. The trigger mechanism creates pressure on each stroke, delivering a controlled spray or stream. Adjustable nozzles switch between jet (for directed application at distance) and fan spray (for coverage of larger surfaces). Chemical compatibility is important — trigger sprayer bodies and pump seals are typically polyethylene or polypropylene, suitable for most aqueous chemicals and mild solvents; aggressive solvents and strong oxidising agents require solvent-resistant construction.

Pressure Sprayers

Pressure sprayers (compression sprayers) hold several litres of liquid and are pre-pressurised by a hand pump before use, delivering continuous spray without repeated trigger action. Used for applying degreaser to large surfaces, garden and pest control chemicals, and fluid application tasks that would be tedious with a trigger sprayer. The stored pressure makes them efficient for sustained tasks; the trade-off is the need to maintain pressure and clean the tank and nozzle after use with aggressive chemicals.

Hand Pumps and Barrel Pumps

Hand-operated rotary and lever pumps transfer liquids from drums and containers without tipping or pouring. Rotary pumps suit lower-viscosity fluids (water, thin oils, fuel); lever piston pumps handle more viscous products. For large volume chemical transfer or frequent drum emptying, a hand pump is significantly more practical than decanting from a tilted drum. Chemical compatibility with the pump body and seals must be checked for the specific fluid being handled.

Oil and Grease Dispensing

Oil dispensers and grease guns are purpose-built for lubrication tasks. Grease guns deliver grease under pressure through a nipple to sealed bearing housings; lever-action oil cans deliver measured oil to machine lubrication points.

Labelling and Contamination Control

In maintenance environments where multiple lubricants, coolants, or chemicals are in use, cross-contamination from using the same dispenser for different fluids causes equipment damage and production quality issues. Colour-coding dispensers to specific fluids and labelling all containers with both the contents and intended use is a straightforward contamination control measure. Dedicated dispensers for each fluid type are a modest investment compared to the consequences of a contamination event in a hydraulic system, gearbox, or precision machine.
