• Trax: Trax supplies professional air tools for the automotive and industrial market. Trax air impact wrenches are available in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" square drive and deliver high torque outputs suited to heavy-duty wheel removal, equipment assembly and bolting tasks in workshops and on construction sites.
• Metabo: Metabo is a German manufacturer of professional power tools for the industrial and construction trades. Metabo 18V brushless cordless impact wrenches feature high-torque output, multi-step speed and torque control, battery fuel gauges and are compatible with the Metabo LiHD 18V battery platform.
• HiKOKI: HiKOKI (formerly Hitachi Power Tools) manufactures professional-grade cordless and electric power tools. HiKOKI 18V and 36V impact wrenches deliver industrial-grade torque in a compact form and are part of the HiKOKI MultiVolt battery system.

Impact Wrench Types and Drive Sizes

• Air Impact Wrenches: Pneumatic impact wrenches driven by compressed air are the preferred choice for high-cycle automotive and workshop applications where consistent torque output and long tool life are priorities. Trax air impact wrenches require a compressor capable of supplying sufficient CFM at 90 PSI, and are available in 1/2" drive (passenger vehicle and light commercial work), 3/4" drive (truck and plant applications) and 1" drive (heavy plant, civil and structural bolting).
• Cordless Impact Wrenches: Metabo and HiKOKI 18V brushless cordless impact wrenches provide air-tool-grade torque without the need for a compressor or air hose. Brushless motors deliver higher efficiency and longer motor life than brushed designs. Cordless impact wrenches are ideal for field service, mobile mechanics, construction sites and any location where carrying compressed air equipment is impractical.
• Drive Size Selection: 1/2" square drive suits passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, general mechanical maintenance and equipment assembly. 3/4" drive provides higher torque for trucks, buses, agricultural equipment and light plant. 1" drive is specified for heavy construction plant, structural steelwork bolting, mining and civil infrastructure applications where fasteners are large and bolt tension requirements are high.
