Choosing an oil seal or O-ring
For oil seals, match the three sizes in the title to your shaft, housing bore and seal width, then choose single or double lip and NBR or Viton. Metric and imperial seals are listed separately, and the automotive hub seals are listed by vehicle. For O-rings, match the cross section and inside diameter, and choose NBR 70 or Viton 75 to suit the fluid. Metric and BS series sizes are listed separately, so check which series your equipment uses. Use the O-ring cord where you need a custom size, and the grab kits for a mixed workshop assortment.
