Organise, Protect and Route Industrial Wiring with Wire & Cable Management from Hansa and Champion
Wire and cable management products — cable ties, spiral wrap, conduit fittings and wiring accessories — are used in workshops, plant rooms, machinery installations, electrical panels and mobile equipment to organise cables into neat, secure bundles, protect wiring from abrasion and heat, and route cables safely through enclosures and along structures.
In industrial and maintenance environments where wiring is exposed to vibration, chemicals, oil and physical damage, proper cable management extends the service life of wiring, simplifies fault finding and reduces the risk of electrical hazards caused by abraded or damaged insulation.
AIMS Industrial sells wire and cable management products from Hansa and Champion — industrial fluid, pneumatic and hardware suppliers with a broad range of workshop and maintenance accessories used across Australian engineering and maintenance operations.
The Wire & Cable Management Range
Our range covers cable ties, spiral wrap and conduit fittings for bundling, protecting and routing electrical cables and pneumatic tubing in industrial, workshop and mobile plant applications.
- Hansa: Hansa supplies wire and cable management accessories as part of their broad industrial hardware and fluid handling range. Hansa’s cable management products provide practical, reliable solutions for securing and organising cables in workshop, plant and mobile equipment environments.
- Champion: Champion supplies cable ties and wiring accessories as part of their comprehensive pneumatic and industrial hardware range. Champion’s cable management products are suited to general workshop and maintenance applications where reliable cable securing and organisation is required.
Selecting the Right Cable Management Products
Cable management product selection depends on the application environment, the cable diameter and bundle size, and the required level of protection against abrasion, UV exposure or chemical contamination.
- Cable Ties: Nylon cable ties are the standard method for bundling cables into secure, organised runs. Select tie length and width to suit the bundle diameter — wider ties provide higher tensile strength for heavy cable bundles. For outdoor or UV-exposed environments, use UV-stabilised (black) nylon ties. Stainless steel ties are required for high-temperature applications or environments with strong chemical exposure.
- Spiral Wrap: Spiral cable wrap provides flexible protection and bundling for cable looms. It is applied by spiralling the wrap around the cable bundle and can be removed and repositioned without cutting. Spiral wrap is particularly useful for protecting cables in mobile plant, machine tools and control panels where the cable run changes direction.
- Conduit Fittings: Conduit fittings — glands, locknuts, bushings and adaptors — are used to terminate flexible conduit at enclosures, panels and junction boxes, providing a secure, strain-relieved cable entry point that seals the enclosure against dust and moisture ingress.
