Choosing parts for a 2-1/2 inch system
Build the system from the vacuum end out. Start with the adaptor that suits your shop vacuum or ducting: the canister adaptor and the hose adaptor with mounting tab are for shop vacuums, and the sheet metal duct adaptor is for 3 inch duct. Then add hose segments to reach the work, a slide valve to open and close the line, and the nozzle that suits the job. The kit is a convenient starting point.
Choose the anti-static versions where static build up is a concern with the material you are extracting. Check the data sheet for what each version is made for. These parts are for the 2-1/2 inch system, so they do not fit the 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 inch Loc-Line systems.
